Our Services

Access & Community Participation

Our Community Access service supports participants accessing and participating in social, recreational, educational, and vocational activities within the community. Developing confidence, making friends, building relationships, and improving overall well-being are just some of the goals Esteem Mentoring helps clients achieve.

Assistance with Daily Living

Our Assistance with Daily Living Service involves providing support for participants to complete daily living activities in their own homes or in a supported independent living setting. We offer support to participants to maintain independence by assisting with tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, medication management, mobility assistance, and household chores.

Mentoring

Our mentoring service is targeted at those aged 7 and 25. It is designed to guide younger-aged clients with intellectual disabilities and
at-risk youth. Our key focus is to establish a rapport with the participant by building trust and establishing clear communication. Once a relationship has been established, we work with the participant to set achievable goals and develop a plan to work towards them.

Group Based Activities

In offering our group-based activities we first ensure we have a thorough understanding of the individual needs of our participants and the most effective ways to engage with them in a group setting. This involves developing a clear understanding of each participant's disability, support needs, and personal goals. In addition, it involves designing accessible and engaging activities for everyone.

Respite

Esteem Mentoring's Respite Service offers temporary relief to caregivers by taking over some caregiving responsibilities. We can provide for children, adults, or seniors with disabilities or chronic illnesses. Our goal is to support primary caregivers' mental and emotional well-being by giving them time to rest and recharge.
